The Ketchens, Massachusetts
" The property was everything we needed for our trip, and we will definitely be back! "
The Lorentzens, New Jersey
" We were a group of eight and had a wonderful stay at this property. The pictures do not do it justice. The place is open and airy with amazing sunset views from the balcony. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. We made everything from pancakes to ribs. Even when we sat inside at the huge table it felt like we were eating outside with the tall doors open. Plenty of bath and beach towels in all rooms and bathrooms. Had use of the washer and dryer so we didn't have to bring a ton of clothing. Can not recommend this place enough. You will not be disappointed to spend your trip there. Wish I was still there now. "
The Klugs, Wisconsin
" Shawn's place made for an amazing stay on our family trip. I simply cannot say enough good things about it - location, amenities, recommendations and convenience were mare than we could've hoped for. We'll be back for sure. Thanks for such an incredible vacation. "
The Buenrostros, Illinois
" Had a great time in this home. House is as advertised. Great location, very clean, and spacious. The view to the ocean is great. Would definitely stay here again. "
The Meyers, Texas
" Beautiful views with good snorkeling right in front of the house. "
The Delgados, New York
" The house was very clean and maintained very nicely. The accommodations were comfortable. Communication with the owner and manager were seamless and always received prompt responses. Many restaurants, supermarkets and activities in the area. The only negative I would mention is that should have been notified not to throw paper in the toilets [this was a misunderstanding; no problem with TP]. Overall excellent vacation and really enjoyed our stay in the beach house! "
The Eagens, Louisiana
" Fantastic space and excellent amenities. Shawn really made us feel at home. "
The Rodriguez', New Jersey
" The house was very accommodating for all 10 of us. Is beautiful inside, everything inside is in perfect conditions. We had everything we needed. We had a problem with one of the air conditioners and I call Juan and he took care of it. We are already planning are next trip. I recommended is a beautiful house and area everything is withing minutes to the house. "
A: Beachfront in world famous Rincón, Puerto Rico! More specifically, we are in the Rincón neighborhood known as Stella, and you can see us on Google Maps here.
A: Yes, year-round! Our west-facing coastline is sheltered from the big winter waves that often impact much of the rest of Rincón. Our backyard offers nice snorkeling, and if you care to surf, waves are just five minutes away!
A: Out of respect for our neighbors, we are sorry to say that we're unable to accommodate such requests. Only registered house guests are allowed on the premises.
A: Absolutely! Rincón is considered by many to be the very safest place in all of Puerto Rico.
A: Yes! Rincón has two grocery stores - Edwards and Econo- and both are less than half a mile away. Additionally, there are an abundance of restaurants, food trucks, and beach bars - plus convenience stores, surf shops, gas stations and pharmacies - in our neighborhood.
A: Monthly temperature and rainfall averages can be found here.
A: It's really quite simple, but we'll lay it out here in excrutiating detail!
(1) using the contact form below, you tell us your desired dates and number of guests; (2) we send you a PayPal invoice - with rental agreement attached - for a 25% non-refundable deposit; (3) you pay the invoice; (4) we email you a confirmation with all of the necessary arrival info; (5) sixty days prior to your arrival, we send another PayPal invoice for your balance plus $250/unit refundable security deposit; (6) you pay the invoice; (7) you start counting down the days 'till paradise!
A: There are two primary flight options, plus a hybrid third option:
(1) Saffron Sunset is a 45 minute drive to/from Aguadilla (BQN) airport, and so if you can do it, that's the obvious choice. But Aguadilla's limited routes and odd flight times (think: 2-3 a.m.) can be deterrents for some.
(2) San Juan (SJU) airport offers dozens of daily flights, but is a 2.5 hour drive to Saffron Sunset.
(3) If San Juan's flight options are appealing but the drive to Rincón is not, consider adding a 40 minute flight from SJU to Mayaguez (MAZ) via Cape Air. From Mayaguez, it's just a 20 minute drive to Saffron Sunset.
